Paul S. Freedberg, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Paul S. Freedberg earned his medical degree cum laude at Boston University School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his internship in medicine at Los Angeles County Harbor General Hospital, Torrance, California, did his pre-specialty general surgery training at Wadsworth V.A. Hospital, Los Angeles, and completed his residency in Urology at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Freedberg is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Association of Practicing Urologists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has been an instructor of urology at Boston University School of Medicine. He is on staff at the Merrimack Valley Hospital and the Anna Jaques Hospital, and he has been with Urology Associates of Essex North, Inc. since 1980.

Christopher P. Birdsall, M.D.

Dr. Birdsall earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1982. His residency in general surgery was completed at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and he completed his residency in urology at Boston University Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is on staff at Merrimack Valley Hospital and the Anna Jaques Hospital. Dr. Birdsall has been with Urology Associates of Essex North, Inc. since 1989.

Mitchell H. Bamberger, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Mitchell H. Bamberger graduated from Emory University in 1978 and received his MD from Albany Medical College in 1982. He completed his internship in surgery and his urology residency at St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City in 1978. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He completed a Fellow at University of CA-Davis in 1985 and Mass General Hospital in 1990. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Mass Association of Practicing Urologists. Dr Bamberger began practicing at Urology Associates of Essex North, Inc. in August 2007.
